The Project
Concept
- Since its launch in 2016, Yoga Room has established itself as a leader in the yoga market segment in Belgium, with average annual sales growth of 82%.
- Attendance at Yoga Room studios increased 2.5-fold between 2018 and 2019, demonstrating that the Yoga Room "recipe" works and can be exported.
- YogaRoom studios are successful because they are located in high-density urban centres with high purchasing power.
Objective
- The aim of this refinancing and development project is to expand the network with 3 additional studios in Belgium, 1 in Portugal and the renovation of a studio in Paris.
- Yoga Room aims to continue growing, both in Belgium and internationally
Opportunities
- The impact of COVID has enabled Yoga Room to seize new opportunities:
- The launch of an online course platform, which currently has 1,200 members and is generating additional sales (estimated at €150,000 in 2021-2022).
- The state of the market also makes it possible to seize strategic locations on advantageous terms (while maintaining greater control over costs).

Founder & CEO of NOWRIZONAfter moving to China for ten years, he set up import/export companies specialising in furniture design and production. It was there that he discovered yoga and turned it into a passion and a way of life. He practised yoga in Shanghai for 8 years before returning to Belgium. He completed his first teacher training course in Shanghai and then obtained his diploma as a trainer from the Wild Lotus 200H school with Patrick Creelman and Pure Yoga Hong Kong.
